Yes you can! This is the basis of DNS management.
Using PowerDNS Hosting you can quickly setup and manage sub-domains such as www.mydomain.com, test.mydomain.com, web.mydomain.com. To add a sub-domain go to your list of current domains. See example below.
Click on the edit link next to the domain you wish to add a sub domain for.
Next choose whether you want a sub domain (A record) or a webforward (URL record) for your domain.
